Casting!!!!

Hey guys.

So. Heard the big news yet? Kristen Stewart has been contracted to be Bella Swan in the upcoming Twilight movie. I've gotten over it. Don't worry, I'm not going to waste your time mourning over Emily Browning. Some good things about Kristen are that she has had lots of experience acting as all kinds of characters, so looks aside, she will be a great Bella.

If you're worried about looks of the cast, calm down people.( I know that sounds really weird coming from me but whatever). It's Hollywood! They've got tons of makeup, prosthetics, a great make up, hair dresser, and dressing team. And lots, and lots, and LOTS of actors and actresses. If they don't, they can always choose me. ( lol just kidding. though i would love to do it, me as Bella would be just horrifying.)

I realized why I was dying for Henry Cavill (The Count of Monte Crisco, if you know that movie, he was a huge character in it, but don't base your opinion of his looks from that movie, he looks very weird in it.) and Emily Browning (Violet in The Series of Unfortunate Events) to be Edward and Bella. Thanks to a comment of a Twilight video on You Tube, I realized that Henry Cavill's clearly defined, rather large jaw is what makes him so perfect for Edward. He has a stern look, but it can also turn very seductive or warm. Henry was eliminated from Stephenie Meyer's choices because though he was her favorite (and mine too,) he is currently 24, making him too old to play the role of 17-year-old Edward. Sorry Henry. I'll miss you.

Emily Browning was my favorite choice for Bella because she is very pretty, but still looks down to earth. (The phrase down-to-earth, the perfect description of Bella, was also brought to my attention from the same comment) Danielle Panabaker is my perfect image of Bella, but she is just too pretty. By the way, that opinion may be biased because of a picture I saw of her where her hair is a mahogany red, and she is blushing lightly over her pale skin. Which is exactly what Bella looks like. Sorry Emily. I just won't miss you as much as Henry. But you still rock.

I'm not very sure yet, but I have also heard that Julie Benz will be playing Esme (the motherly figure to the Cullens, her adoptive children). I'm sure she'll do great, but I would have liked Mary-Louise Parker. On the other hand, Julie Benz has a great motherly look to her face.

For Carlisle ( the “father” of the Cullens), I would like the picture of Henry Cavill with the slick black hair and black shirt. Very hot. Or maybe, maybe, Cillian Murphy.

Alice is totally Rachel Leigh Cook! Have you seen her? She is perfect! She looks very pixie like, just like Alice.

Jasper.... I really don't know. Suggest me something!

Emmett is definitely Daniel Cudmore. DEFINETLY. Daniel is muscular and just like totally reminds me of Emmett, who loves to fight. ( Because he always wins, lol)

Joanna Krupa would do great as Rosalie. She’s a model, so she has that great “Rosalie’ personality.

I would love Jacob Black as Tyler Posey, because Tyler definitely looks Native American and has an innocent, cute look to his face. He also looks very young, like Jacob.


Please note: I'm currently in the process of trying to figure out Blogger's dag-blasted photo slide show thinga ma jiggy. That will take a while. When i figure it out, my fav. actors for Twilight's pictures will be on my page. Yay! Hopefully you guys won't be finishing up your last year at De Anza when I get it done. :D

So that's my opinion of the casting. The movie, is a totally different idea. The movie can never be as good as the books, because a movie can never portray a story like the author does, and because Summit Productions will try to fit all three novels into one tiny little 2 hour movie. At least I think they will. Actually, I'm pretty sure that they will base the movie on Twilight only. That would be nice. Nevertheless, my emo group and me are definitely going to go see it on premiere night.
